Who gets your data?

General provisions
CONAN GmbH has clear rules about who can receive personal data. These are only given to those positions and employees
who need them to fulfill contractual, legal and supervisory tasks and obligations and to protect the legitimate interests listed
under point 3.b).
In addition, processing centers commissioned by CONAN GmbH, i.e. companies that support us in fulfilling company goals and
tasks, such as IT companies, payment providers, suppliers, delivery agents, printers, etc., receive their data to the extent that
they use it need to complete the assigned tasks. CONAN GmbH concludes written agreements with these processors that

For the sake of completeness, we would like to point out that there are surveillance measures in place by US authorities in the
USA, which generally enable the storage of all personal data of all persons whose data was transferred from the EU or
Switzerland to the USA. This is done without differentiation, limitation or exception based on the objective pursued and without
an objective criterion that makes it possible to limit the US authorities‘ access to the data and their subsequent use to very
specific, strictly limited purposes that are consistent with both the access to this data and the intervention associated with its
use. We would also like to point out that there are no legal remedies in the USA for data subjects that would allow them to gain
access to the data concerning them and to obtain its correction or deletion, or no effective legal protection against general US
access rights authorities. We explicitly draw your attention to this legal and factual situation so that you can make an
appropriately informed decision to consent to the use of your data.
We would also like to expressly point out that the USA and in particular companies outside the “EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S.
“Privacy Shield Frameworks” do not have an adequate level of data protection.

How long do we process and store data?
We store your data for the duration of the business relationship and beyond in order to carry out advertising activities within the
scope of legitimate interests, as long as you do not legitimately object to this processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR or if
you have given us your consent and have not revoked it. Find out more about this under point 7.
Due to legal retention and documentation obligations, further storage may be necessary. These include in particular the Federal
Tax Code (BAO) and the Corporate Code (UGB) in Austria as well as other national and European legal regulations.
Due to our warranty obligations and the guarantees of our suppliers, storage for 3 years (short limitation period) and in individual
cases significantly longer (long limitation period) is possible and necessary or we may also be obliged to do so due to legal
regulations.

We need your data to process your order. If you provide us with data, you are obliged to provide truthful information. In the
event of incorrect information, e.g. incorrect age information, we are entitled to claim any resulting damage to us and, if relevant
under criminal law, to file a complaint.
You are not obliged to provide data or give your consent to processing if the data is not relevant to the fulfillment of the contract.
However, due to different age limits for consent and legal capacity, we require your age in individual cases.
